Follow me in Puglia – Part 1

During this Easter break we decided to visit Italy for our annual holiday. The reason why we chose Italy was because of this song. Both me and Arpit fell in love with the beautiful white cone-roofed houses. We did some research to figure out the exact location of the scenic places featured in the video. Finally we were able to trace the place down to Puglia in southern Italy.  Continue reading

One Dress Two Looks

Indian-fashion-blog-uk-LondonToday’s blog post follows on from the brand collaboration post I did last month with Jara Wine. Today I’ll be talking about how you can style a little red dress for a day as well as a night look.

For my lookbook styling shoot with Jara I selected this eye-catching red Coco Rouge Dress from Jara’s limited edition collection. All of Jara’s clothes are made in UK using pure fabrics and that’s why the fabric feels silky smooth on your skin. Continue reading

What’s your Red Carpet Style? House of Fraser

This Mother’s day I wrote  ‘Inspired by mum’ outfit post for House of Fraser’s blog, where I created a look taking inspiration from my mum. This month House of Fraser asked me to participate in ‘ What’s your Red Carpet Style’ competition where I had a to create my very own red carpet style outfit. Well I had a quick look in my closet and there was absolutely nothing that I could call as red carpet style. And frankly I did not have a reason to have one either. If I were to attend a red carpet occasion I would take inspiration from my favourite fashion celebrities like Victoria Bekham , Sonam Kapoor , Emma Watson and Alexandra Chung. I would probably choose something elegant yet with modern cuts and design. This dress below from French Connection which I wore at the #canthelpmyselfie event would come close to my red carpet style. All I need is the following items from House of Fraser to complete my look.

1. Sparkling faceted clutch bag

2. These lovely diamante detail t-bar stiletto sandals Indian fashion blogger

I think the above items would definitely do justice to my dress and create a stunning red carpet outfit. Do share your red carpet outfit ideas here . Would love to hear bout your choices. Till then shine on.

How to wear pastels this S/S14

Indian Fashion Blog Blogger and fashion stylist UK London

Every spring/summer pastels and candy colours come back as a trend. Personally I am not a huge fan of pastels as they are generally associated with girly fashion and that’s something I want to move away from. But I am in the process of evolving my style to create a more modern feminine look. So how can you achieve a modern feminine look without looking girly? Here is how I experimented with it.
