Beach Holiday Outfit Ideas

Beach holidays are ever so refreshing. I get a sense of calmness just by looking at the blue water. I love beach holiday, actually who doesn’t. I need it at least once a year to get me going. This year I had an opportunity to explore some hidden and quiet beaches along the coast of southern Italy in Puglia.

When it comes to beach dressing it has to be effortless and fuss free. Something that can be multi-purpose: both a cover up and an outfit. Today I share two outfits with you that are ideal for spending an afternoon/evening stroll on the beach.

White cone roof houses , Trulli Alberobello

On Day 2 of our holiday in Puglia, in southern Italy, we drove down to Alberobello. The very reason we planned our holiday was to visit the ancient white cone roof houses called Trullis in Alberobello, a UNESCO world heritage site. What we didn’t realise that it’s a very popular tourist destination and even in the non-holiday season there are queues to get into the city. Arpit’s broken Italian came in very handy when asking for directions, as the GPS didn’t take us to the main parking area.

During this Easter break we decided to visit Italy for our annual holiday. The reason why we chose Italy was because of this song. Both me and Arpit fell in love with the beautiful white cone-roofed houses. We did some research to figure out the exact location of the scenic places featured in the video. Finally we were able to trace the place down to Puglia in southern Italy.
